Merry, Merry Christmas

It’s Christmas day.

I was ‘supposed’ to have my editing sent to me to work on as of this day, but as soon as my lovely editor uttered the words, I laughed to myself. I didn’t want them by today! I want them after she enjoys her Christmas! Silly, wonderful girl.

When I picked up the gaffer from the sitter’s this past week, after I wished her a happy Christmas, she hugged me and said, ‘This is your year, Jenn’.

She’s right. It’s going to be a stellar year.

I pray it goes slowly enough for me to savour every last drop.

Merry Christmas.
